The Booming Mobile Industry in Pakistan



Science and technology is a booming field in Pakistan. The significance of advances in the telecommunications industry cannot be underestimated. Several years ago, only the upper and middle class could afford cell phones. With the passage of time because of price reductions and cost economies, cell phones started being manufactured at lower prices. Due to technological advances, it became possible to produce cell phone at economical rates.  Affordability increased for many.

Smart phones when they evolved were produced by big names and priced really high. Because of being so expensive only the upper strata of society could afford them. Over the years, this technology has also seen many advancements and the cost of developments have reduced extensively. Smart phone usage in Pakistan is quite popular now.

The latest in these offers is the release from Microsoft. With the introduction of Microsoft 10 mobile operating system, their latest smart phone Lumia 650 has been released. This phone is the third model released by Microsoft with similar technology. It is priced cheaper than its counterparts at 199$ (approximately 20,000 rupees). Owing to its features, the Lumia 650 is being promoted as a business phone in your pocket. According to a statement released by Samsung, the telecommunications company has started to incorporate Google’s new android operating system Marshmallow within their own devices. Initially this technology is being offered in their Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6H models. It is being said that Samsung has taken too long to incorporate this new technology within their devices.
